Born on the 31 January 1975 in Shimla, india. She was never from the family that has exposure in acting movie. While the father and her elderly brother was in Indian army officer. Her mother and her younger brother reside in California. Unfortunately, her father was killed in a ghastly motor accident but her mother survived with heavy injuries.

She was lived at Jesus and Mary boarding school in Shimla. She graduated from Saint Bede’s College with a major in English. Then, she proceeded to another degree in criminal psychology. She ventured into business world through a slightest opportunity as she took part in Cadbury Perk’s commercial.

She never thought she would be an actress But Kapoor saw her in the Liril commercial and liked her so much that he instantly decided that the next film he would announce would have her in the lead.

She proceeded to assume a liril girl and part of the rest of the ads. Then she found her way to film industry. she made her first appearance in shekhar Kapoor’s, Tara Rum Pum Pum with Hrithik Roshan was eventually halted following her featuring in Mani Rathnam’s Dil se.

And another offer soon came by, Kundan Shah's Kya Kehna (2000). The film was the first, Preity had actually begun shooting for her first release which was Mani Ratnam's Dil Se (1998). The film was a hit . Later Abbas-Mustan's Soldier (1998) that Also was a hit at the box-office Then confirmed she was here to stay. Though Kya Kehna (2000) was her first film, but it released in 2000 and was the surprise hit For her.

Then She came in Dil Chahta Hai (2001) and Dil Hai Tumhaara (2002) was appreciated and liked by all and that has made her an actress with in Bollywood. Her screen presence, charm and down to earth nature has made her the favorite actress of almost all the directors and producers. With banners and films like Rakesh Roshan's Koi... Mil Gaya (2003) with 'Hrithik Roshan', Nikhil Advani's Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003) starring Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Jaya Bhaduri, Farhan Akhtar's Lakshya (2004) with Hrithik Roshan and Amitabh Bachchan, Atul Agnihotri's Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha (2004) starring Salman Khan and Bhoomika Chawla, Yash Chopra's Veer-Zaara (2004) with Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji, Siddharth Anand's Salaam Namaste (2005) with Saif Ali Khan, and Karan Johar's Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) with Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji, Preity has already made her place in the hearts of the public and also in Bollywood.

Gauri born on 16 September 1977 in Kashmir, India. She is a well known Indian television Actress.

Gauri father was a Major in the Indian Army so she lived in many places in India throughout her childhood. when her father's retired, her family settled down in Pune where she studied Psychology in SP College. In 1998, she came to Mumbai to take part in Miss India and reached among the five finalist.

She started her career with modelling, ramp work and commercials. She made her acting debut in and as Noor jehan, the Mughal Empress which aired on Door Darshan. In October 2001 came Kutumb which became very successful and made her into a household name. She entered in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Nandini Thakkar. She has also made special appearances in the series Rihaee and Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin on Sony. In March 2005 she entered the popular show Special Squad as the special squad head.

She was nominated for the MTV Lycra Style Awards in the category for Most Stylish Person on TV (Female) in 2004. In 2005, Gauri won the Best Evergreen Pair of the decade on Sony television with husband Hiten for Kutumb.

In 2005 & 2007 & recently in 2008 she won the star parivar favourite jodi award with husband Hiten (for the characters Karan and Nandini in KSBKBT).They are the only jodi to have won it thrice till date.

In 2006 she was awarded for best supporting actress in the Indian Television Awards for her portrayal of the character Nandini.

She is married to Hiten Tejwani, her co-star from 'Kutumb' and 'Kyunki'. She first met Hiten while doing an ad film 'Breeze'. They got married on 29 April 2004 in Pune.

Zarina worked on her appearance and attended film parties and events.The industry people took notice and decided to cast her in films. She was usually cast as the middle-class. She made a comeback to Malayam in the movie Calendar, which released in 2009. She is slated to appear in the 2010 release, My Name Is Khan as the mother of (Shah Rukh Khan).

She prefers Telugu movies, and has encouraged her daughter Sana to start out acting in a South Indian film, the way she had in a Telugu film Gajula Kistayya (1975) with Krishna. Her daughter Sana Pancholi has tried her hand at acting in 2006. She currently plays older roles in television serials.
