Shweta Tiwari

Shweta was born on 4, October ,1980 in Pratap garh ,Uttar pradesh, India .His mother Mrs Nirmala and father Mr Ashok Tiwari. She spent her childhood in Mumbai. Then She attended St. Isabel Girls School in Mumbai. She obtained her bachelor's degree in commerce from Burhani College, Mazgaon, Mumbai.

Shweta is a popular Indian Television actress. She played the role of Prerna in Balaji Telefilms's popular soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay aired on an Indian television channel STAR Plus, for which she has received a few awards too. She gained popularity for her role of Prerna in Balaji Telefilms's television serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay that used to be aired on an Indian television channel STAR Plus.She has also done several commercial advertisements, dance shows, plays and cameos in other Indian soaps. She is now also growing as a bhojpuri film actress.

Shweta struggled a lot in her early age.At the age of 12, Shweta worked in a travel agency with a salary of Rs. 500/- per month.She got her first TV break throughin 1999 with Kaleerein.She played the role of Prerna in Balaji Telefilms's popular soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay aired on an Indian television channel STAR Plus, for which she has received a few awards too. On 8 January 2011, Shweta won the reality show, Bigg Boss 4 defeating Ashmit Patel, The Great Khali and Dolly Bindra in the finals. She was the first female contestant to win the show. She won Rs 1 crore as prize money.

Shweta married Raja Chaudhary who is a struggling actor/film producer in 23 December 1999. On 8th October 2000, she gave birth to her daughter Palak. In June 2007, Shweta filed a police complaint against Raja for domestic violence. They are now separated, and it is believed that they are in the process of a legal divorce case.
