Anushka Sharma


Anushka  Was born on 1,May,1988  in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Anushka , the 5'9 ft tall girl gifted with a pretty face, is the girl who got a golden chance to make her debut in a Yashraj Film.
Anushka was born to an army family based in Bangalore. Her father is a high ranked army officer and her mother is a housewife.
Anushka  studied in Army School and then went ahead to do graduation in arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
Anushka wanted to make it big in the glamour world.With moral support from her parents, a confident Anushka got herself enrolled in Elite Modelling Agency. Anushka  was groomed by renowned style consultant Prasad Bidapa, who met her when Anushka  was just 13.

Designer Wendell Rodricks selected her for his finale show in 2007 at Fashion week. Later, Anushka did few ad-campaigns for Whisper, Silk & Shine and Fiat Palio.
Anushka  bagged her dream debut in Aditya Chopra's film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi .

Her second film, Badmaash Company, also under Yash Raj Films, was released on May 7, 2010. Anushka  starred in her third Yash Raj Film, Band Baaja Baaraat, directed by Maneesh Sharma and co-starring debutant Ranveer Singh. Band Baaja Baaraat was released on December 10, 2010.
